Today's Card: Eight of Pentacles

Isn't it a wonderful feeling when you love your job? When you receive such satisfaction from a job well done? The Eight of Pentacles relates to the old adage "do what you love, the money will follow". When this card appears in a reading, it is telling you that you are capable of making some sort of creative endeavor in to something more than 'just a hobby'. Not everyone is meant to have the typical 9-to-5 job. The world needs more artists, more handcrafters, more creative people to keep us connected to the aesthetic aspects of ourselves, and to the Divine inside.

Because the number 8 also has to do with organization and priorities, the Eight of Pentacles can also represent the desire or need to get your life in order, to get your priorities in order and in line with your life's purpose, and to determine the plan(s) for your life, what you wish to obtain in regards to goals, and what steps you need to take to get there. Because eights also have to do with stability, getting these aspects of your life will bring about a greater feeling of solidity and security in your life. Once you have a game plan in place, the uncertainty and fear of what lies ahead (the unknown) dissapates.
