When combined with the energy of Pentacles, which tends to represent money and other material concerns, the Ace of Pentacles showing up in a reading tends to point to thinking of new and creative ways of bringing about more money. It can also represent a chance to start a new job or even begin your own business, or it can signal an increase of reponsibilities and/or opportunities at your current employment. The essence of Pentacles is stating that now is the time to focus on the material aspects of your life, especially if you have been giving energy and/or effort to other facets of your life and your financial standing is weak or lacking. In some instances, the Ace of Pentacles appearing in a reading could indicate the arrival of a lump sum of money (i.e. such as an amount left in a will, or a small lottery win).
