Today's Tarot Card: Two of Swords
Stalemate. It's what happens sometimes when you are butting heads against someone or something else, or even yourself. When you feel you can't make a move, that you are frozen in place, that you will lose balance by making a move ... this is all part of what the Two of Swords represents. If you have cut yourself off emotionally from a situation or person, you might find this card come up in a reading (or, vice versa, if you are in a situation where you find you might need to emotionally remove yourself from a person or situation). The two of swords may also signal that you are in a position where you need to be more aware - and open - to your surroundings, to be more accepting and understanding of different points of view, beliefs and opinions. It is possible that through those differences, answers may come. When facing certain dilemmas, the two of swords may represent an inability or unwillingness to see or face the truth. If you find that you are put in the midst of a disagreement between parties, this card may give you the message that it would be best that you not interfere, that you would be better off allowing those involved to figure it out for themselves.
